The Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) ice hockey trounced the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), 6-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Spartans now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 8. Amity Regional will encounter a Broncos team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 2-13.

With the defeat, North Branford moves to 2-10 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 2-10. South Windsor lost 9-0 in their recent league outing against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)
