The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), observed East Wilkes's basketball team knock off Alleghany by a score of 56-46.

The Cardinals (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, North Stokes was knocked off by West Stokes (King, NC), 54-27, in a non-league challenge.
