February 5, 2025: Hertford, NC 27944 The Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) basketball edged the visiting North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC), 60-58 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Perquimans will play a Vikings team coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, North Pitt falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Washington (Washington, NC) to play the Pam Pack in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Pam Pack enter the outing with a record of 5-9. Washington won 61-53 in their recent non-league outing against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC)
