Georgia High School Soccer - McIntosh nudges Greenbrier
February 6, 2021: Peachtree City, GA 30269 McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Coming up next, the Chiefs meet the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, February 9. McIntosh will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA).
With the loss, Greenbrier drops to 0-1 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 8 test on Thursday, February 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-0. Eastside won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Luella (Luella, GA)
