In Monday's league outing, the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) basketball squad beat the host McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), by a count of 66-57.

The Patriots (12-15) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats go into the North Yosemite outing with a 14-7 record. In their last outing, Sunnyside defeated Torres (Madera, CA), 70-57, in a league outing.

The Highlanders now hold a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a North Yosemite outing on Wednesday, February 8. McLane will clash with a Rough Riders squad coming off a 80-73 league loss to Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 15-9.
