Minnesota High School Basketball - Long Prairie-Grey Eagle crushes Laporte
February 6, 2023: Long Prairie, MN 56347 Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN), 79-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Thunder travel to Swanville (Swanville, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a A Section 5 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Swanville won 55-37 in their recent league bout against Upsala (Upsala, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN) in a A Section 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Laporte will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 85-27 non-league win over Sebeka (Sebeka, MN).
