Missouri High School Basketball - Lovejoy trounces Normandy
February 6, 2023: St. Louis, MO 63133 The Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, IL) basketball crushed the host Normandy Vikings (St. Louis, MO), 63-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Comanches go into the non-league test with a 9-18 record. In their last test, Cahokia walloped Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL), 50-44, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to McCluer South-Berkeley for a Suburban - Blue test on Tuesday, February 7. Normandy will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 85-63 non-league loss to Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
