The Middletown Christian Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions to 45 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton Christian for a Metro Buckeye contest on Friday, February 10. Middletown Christian will battle a WARRIORS team coming off a 78-61 non-league loss to Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH). The WARRIORS record now stands at 12-9.
The Lions (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Riverview East Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Riverview East Academy ran past Hillcrest (Cincinnati, OH), 86-30, in a non-league contest.
