Kentucky High School Basketball - Owen County overwhelms Trimble County
February 6, 2023: Bedford, KY 40006 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) and the host Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY), saw Owen County's basketball squad wallop Trimble County by a tally of 71-48.
With the victory, Owen County improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Williamstown (Williamstown, KY) to confront the Demons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Williamstown won 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Covington Latin Trojans (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Trimble County will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 93-39 non-league loss to Heritage Academy (Florence, KY).
