Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) and the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), saw Central City's basketball squad overcome Twin River by a tally of 47-29.

With the victory, Central City improves its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Bison host Lakeview (Columbus, NE) to confront the Vikings in a C1 District 7 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Lakeview lost 44-32 in their recent league challenge against Scotus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Titans confront the Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Twin River will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE).
