Illinois High School Basketball - Hoopeston overwhelms Georgetown-Ridge Farm
February 6, 2023: Hoopeston, IL 60942 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) and the visiting Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL), saw Hoopeston's basketball squad wallop Georgetown-Ridge Farm by a tally of 61-32.
With the victory, Hoopeston improves its record to 16-13 on the campaign. The Cornjerkers travel to Chrisman (Chrisman, IL) to confront the Cardinals in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-23. Chrisman lost 38-20 in their recent league challenge against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL)
Next up, the Buffaloes confront the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 21-9 record after their 46-21 league win over Westville (Westville, IL).
