Minnesota High School Basketball - Jackson County Central holds off St. James
February 6, 2023: St. James, MN 56081 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) and the host St. James Saints (St. James, MN), saw Jackson County Central's basketball squad hold off St. James by a tally of 98-92.
With the victory, Jackson County Central improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a AA Section 3 test on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 10-6. Fairmont won 53-44 in their recent non-league test against Waseca (Waseca, MN)
The Saints now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Redwood Valley for a AA Section 3 test on Thursday, February 9. St. James will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-12.
