Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) and the host Sacramento Dragons (Sacramento, CA), saw Rio Americano's basketball squad hold off Sacramento by a tally of 34-32.

With the victory, Rio Americano improves its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Capital Athletic League challenge on Friday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 21-6. Vista del Lago won 59-30 in their recent league challenge against Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA)

Next up, the Dragons confront the El Camino Eagles (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Athletic League challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Sacramento will attempt to improve on its 12-15 season record.
