Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) and the visiting North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), saw Jordan-Matthews's basketball squad hold off North Moore by a count of 31-30.

With the victory, Jordan-Matthews upgrades its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 1-16. Lee County lost 77-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)
