North Carolina High School Basketball - Richmond edges Pine Forest
February 6, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28311 The Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) basketball nipped the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 48-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Raiders (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots go into the non-league outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Scotland held off Lee County (Sanford, NC), 77-53, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Pine Forest will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 89-40 non-league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 10-8.
