In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets basketball team scored a decisive 93-47 triumph over the Ledford Panthers.

In their next game, the Blue Comets meet the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a 3A Mid-Piedmont match, on Friday, February 9. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record.
