Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy topped by Barbe
February 6, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70605 The Barbe Buccaneers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers to 56 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington-Marion for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7. Barbe will battle a Charging Indians team coming off a 66-59 league win over DeRidder (DeRidder, LA). The Charging Indians record now stands at 15-12.
The Tigers (13-16) will now prepare for their contest against GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 19-11 record. In their last contest, GEO Next Generation prevailed over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 49-39, in a non-league contest.
