The Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) basketball nipped the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX), 57-54 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons (20-9) will now prepare for their test against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 18-16 record. In their last test, Dekaney got by MacArthur (Houston, TX), 65-42, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 15-16 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region II District 14 test on Friday, February 9. Spring will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 65-42 league loss to Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 3-27.
