February 6, 2024: Marrero, LA 70072 John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting International Panthers (New Orleans, LA), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John Ehret upgrades its record to 11-14 on the season. The Patriots host West Jefferson (Harvey, LA) to play the Buccaneers in a 5A District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 8-22. West Jefferson lost 70-47 in their recent non-league bout against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. International will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 54-30 league loss to Maurepas (Maurepas, LA).
