Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Kiski Area crushes McKeesport
February 6, 2024: McKeesport, PA 15132 Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), 62-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Kiski Area upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA) to play the Warriors in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout on Friday, February 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-11. Penn-Trafford won 71-61 in their recent league bout against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout, on Friday, February 9. McKeesport will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 49-41 league win over Gateway (Monroeville, PA).
