Illinois High School Basketball - Simeon holds off Lane Tech
February 6, 2024: Chicago, IL 60618 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) and the host Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL), saw Simeon's basketball squad hold off Lane Tech by a tally of 53-50.
With the victory, Simeon improves its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Curie (Chicago, IL) to confront the Condors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Condors come into the challenge with a record of 25-2. Curie won 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Champions confront the La Lumiere Blue Lakers (La Porte, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Lane Tech will attempt to improve on its 17-11 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 80-61 non-league win over Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN).
