Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lowell upgrades its record to 4-15 on the year. The Red Devils host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, February 9. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-9. Hanover Central lost 70-50 in their recent non-league game against Gary West Side (Gary, IN)

With the defeat, Whiting moves to 2-14 on the year. The Oilers travel to Westville (Westville, IN) to face the Blackhawks in a non-league game on Friday, February 9.
