Kansas High School Basketball - Topeka knocked off by Manhattan
February 6, 2024: Manhattan, KS 66502 The Manhattan Indians basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Topeka Trojans to 53 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction City for a Centennial contest on Friday, February 9. Manhattan will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 63-55 league win over Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 14-2.
The Trojans (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans enter the Centennial contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Emporia ran past Hayden (Topeka, KS), 50-24, in a league contest.
