The Yough Cougars tipped the visiting McGuffey Highlanders basketball team by a final score of 40-38 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 4 game, on Friday, February 9. Yough will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 62-46 league win over Brownsville (Brownsville, PA).
