Texas High School Basketball - Sharpstown thwarts Milby

The Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), 53-44 in Tuesday's league test.

The Apollos (6-23) will now prepare for their test against Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Rams go into the 5A Region III District 19 test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, Waltrip notched a victory over Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 53-40, in a league test.

The Buffs now own a 10-19 record. They play next when they travel to Austin for a 5A Region III District 19 test on Friday, February 9. Milby will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 53-42 league win over Sharpstown (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-14.
