New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees overwhelmed by Montgomery
February 6, 2024: Skillman, NJ 08559 The Montgomery Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Voorhees Vikings to 39 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Montgomery will battle a Terriers team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 16-5.
The Vikings (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ). The Eagles come into the Skyland - Valley contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, South Hunterdon triumphed over Manville (Manville, NJ), 49-45, in a league contest.
