New York High School Basketball - Wheatland-Chili edges Northstar Christian Academy
February 6, 2024: Scottsville, NY 14546 The Wheatland-Chili Wildcats (Scottsville, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Northstar Christian Academy Knights (Rochester, NY), 79-78 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Alexander (Alexander, NY). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Alexander got by Notre Dame (Batavia, NY), 62-54, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lyons for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Northstar Christian Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Red Creek (Red Creek, NY). The Lions record now stands at 14-1.
