February 6, 2024: Dalzell, SC 29040 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Orangeburg Prep Indians (Orangeburg, SC) and the host Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC), saw Orangeburg Prep's basketball squad wallop Thomas Sumter Academy by a tally of 62-21.
With the victory, Orangeburg Prep improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Calhoun Academy lost 64-51 in their recent league challenge against Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC)
Next up, the Generals confront the Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region IV challenge, on Friday, February 9. Thomas Sumter Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 73-41 league loss to Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC).
