Oklahoma High School Basketball - Owasso crushes Putnam City
February 6, 2024: Owasso, OK 74055 Owasso Rams (Owasso, OK) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad wallop the visiting Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK), 67-36 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Owasso improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK) to confront the Bruins in a 6A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Bartlesville lost 78-33 in their recent league challenge against Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Union Redhawks (Tulsa, OK) in a 6A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Putnam City will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 67-43 league win over Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK).
