Michigan High School Basketball - Pennfield nudges Paw Paw
February 6, 2024: Battle Creek, MI 49017 Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paw Paw Red Wolves (Paw Paw, MI), 38-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pennfield upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Marshall (Marshall, MI) to confront the Redhawks in a Interstate Eight challenge on Friday, February 9. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Marshall lost 46-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Otsego (Otsego, MI)
Next up, the Red Wolves confront the Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) in a Wolverine B challenge, on Friday, February 9. Paw Paw will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 61-36 non-league win over Allegan (Allegan, MI).
