Kansas High School Basketball - Argonia holds off Oxford
February 6, 2024: Oxford, KS 67119 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Argonia Red Raiders (Argonia, KS) and the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS), saw Argonia's basketball squad hold off Oxford by a tally of 38-33.
With the victory, Argonia improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Caldwell (Caldwell, KS) to confront the Bluejays in a South Central Border challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Caldwell lost 40-23 in their recent non-league challenge against West Elk (Howard, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Udall Eagles (Udall, KS) in a South Central Border challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 46-23 league win over Central (Burden, KS).
