Ohio High School Basketball - Delta nips Lake
February 6, 2024: Delta, OH 43515 Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), 35-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wauseon (Wauseon, OH) to play the Indians in a Northwest Ohio bout on Thursday, February 8. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Wauseon lost 45-29 in their recent non-league bout against Ayersville (Defiance, OH)
Next up, the Flyers play the Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) in a Northern Buckeye bout, on Thursday, February 8. Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Bowsher (Toledo, OH).
