The East Moline United Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Richwoods Knights to 45 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geneseo for a Western Big 6 contest on Thursday, February 8. East Moline United will battle a Maple Leafs team coming off a 44-40 non-league loss to Manual (Peoria, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 7-21.

The Knights (19-11) will now prepare for their contest against Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Silver Streaks enter the non-league contest with a 25-6 record. In their last contest, Galesburg was defeated by Alleman (Rock Island, IL), 51-38, in a league contest.
