February 6, 2024: Palatine, IL 60074 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), saw Palatine's basketball squad wallop Elk Grove by a tally of 58-28.
With the victory, Palatine improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to play the Whip-Purs in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Whip-Purs come into the challenge with a record of 20-11. Hampshire won 53-17 in their recent league challenge against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
Next up, the Grenadiers play the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 6-22 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 20-8 record after their 49-39 league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL).
