February 6, 2024: Hopedale, MA 01747 The Millbury Woolies basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Hopedale Blue Raiders to 29 in the Woolies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Woolies now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grafton for a South Worcester County - C contest on Friday, February 9. Millbury will battle a Gators team coming off a 79-33 non-league loss to South (Worcester, MA). The Gators record now stands at 5-8.
The Blue Raiders (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Minutemen come into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Bay Path RVT prevailed over St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA), 42-40, in a non-league contest.
