Virginia High School Basketball - Prince George overwhelms Meadowbrook
February 6, 2024: Richmond, VA 23234 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) and the host Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), saw Prince George's basketball squad wallop Meadowbrook by a tally of 63-25.
With the victory, Prince George improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Royals host Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to confront the Warriors in a Central challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Matoaca lost 78-18 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Meadowbrook will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 60-30 non-league loss to Henrico (Richmond, VA).
