California High School Basketball - West Hills holds off Steele Canyon
February 6, 2024: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) and the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), saw West Hills's basketball squad hold off Steele Canyon by a tally of 30-25.
With the victory, West Hills improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Wolf Pack host Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to confront the Norsemen in a Grossmont - Valley challenge on Friday, February 9. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Valhalla lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Morse (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont - Valley challenge, on Friday, February 9. Steele Canyon will attempt to improve on its 19-8 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 9-16 record after their 52-28 non-league loss to Madison (San Diego, CA).
