Mississippi High School Basketball - Amite School Center trounced by Central Hinds Academy
February 6, 2025: Raymond, MS 39154 Central Hinds Academy Cougars (Raymond, MS) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Amite School Center Rebels (Liberty, MS), 74-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Hinds Academy advances its record to 23-10 on the year. The Cougars host Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 13-12. Christian Collegiate Academy won 80-39 in their recent league match against Ben's Ford Christian (Bogalusa, LA)
The Rebels now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delta Streets Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. Amite School Center will meet a Lions squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS). The Lions record now stands at 20-11.
