Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 52-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Chesterton upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Trojans host Portage (Portage, IN) to face the Indians in a Duneland match on Friday, February 14. The Indians enter the match with a record of 13-4.

The Wolves now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marquette Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. Michigan City will face a Blazers squad coming off a 65-63 non-league loss to Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Blazers record now stands at 5-10.
