In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Crestview Cougars basketball team scored a good 60-41 triumph over the South Central Trojans.

The Cougars (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Big Red go into the Firelands contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Plymouth topped New London (New London, OH), 50-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Saturday, February 8. South Central will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Mounties go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 75-43 league loss to St. Paul (Norwalk, OH).
