Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), 58-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Munster advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 8-8. Calumet New Tech lost 62-45 in their recent league match against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)

The Panthers now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Morton for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Griffith will face a Governors squad coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN). The Governors record now stands at 6-13.
