Michigan High School Basketball - Swan Valley bested by Midland
February 6, 2025: Midland, MI 48642 Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI), 69-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Midland advances its record to 3-13 on the year. The Chemics host Lapeer (Lapeer, MI) to face the Lightning in a Saginaw Valley match on Friday, February 7. The Lightning enter the match with a record of 6-11. Lapeer lost 84-45 in their recent league match against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI)
The Vikings now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alma for a Tri-Valley - Red match on Tuesday, February 11. Swan Valley will face a Panthers squad coming off a 54-33 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-11.
