In Thursday's league test, the Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) basketball squad got by the host St. Joseph Defenders Defenders (St. Joseph, MO), by a score of 39-37.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Cornerstone Family Saints (Topeka, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 7. Shawnee Mission Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
