February 6, 2025: Westside, IA 51467 Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), 53-21 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Logan-Magnolia upgrades its record to 10-10 on the year. The Panthers host Underwood (Underwood, IA) to face the Eagles in a Western Iowa match on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-12. Underwood lost 50-38 in their recent league match against Riverside (Oakland, IA)
The Rockets now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glidden-Ralston for a Rolling Valley match on Friday, February 7. Ar-We-Va will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-27 non-league win over Ogden (Ogden, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-13.
