South Dakota High School Basketball - Avon overwhelms Bon Homme
February 6, 2025: Tyndall, SD 57066 The Avon Pirates basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Bon Homme Cavaliers to 29 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now have a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Freeman for a B Region 4 game on Monday, February 10. Avon will confront a Flyers team coming off a 59-24 league win over Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Bon Homme falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Burke (Burke, SD) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 11-7. Burke lost 70-51 in their recent league game against Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD)
