In Thursday's league contest, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored a big 78-56 win over the Naperville North Huskies.

The Warriors (25-1) will now prepare for their contest against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits come into the non-league contest with a 9-17 record. In their last contest, Evanston smashed Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 67-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Naperville North will attempt to better on its 14-14 season record.
