The Wahlert Golden Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks to 51 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Western Dubuque for a Mississippi Valley game on Friday, February 7. Wahlert will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 69-51 league loss to Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, Waterloo West falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Wahawks travel to Columbus (Waterloo, IA) to confront the Sailors in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8.
