Iowa High School Basketball - Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS fells Northwest Webster
February 7, 2022: Clarion, IA Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 65-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The travel to Hampton-Dumont (Hampton, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Hampton-Dumont lost 76-54 in their recent non-league bout against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Northwest Webster will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 69-68 non-league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA).
