Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 72-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Perry upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Pumas host Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to play the Wolves in a 6A Premier bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 7-17. Chandler lost 54-26 in their recent league bout against Basha (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Central bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Desert Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 69-50 non-league win over Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ).
