West Virginia High School Basketball - Midland Trail crushes Cross Lanes Christian
February 7, 2022: Hico, WV 25854 Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cross Lanes Christian Warriors (Charleston, WV), 57-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midland Trail upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 10. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Oak Hill lost 68-58 in their recent league bout against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Victory Baptist Academy Saints (Beaver, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Cross Lanes Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 62-35 league loss to Elk Valley Christian (Elkview, WV).
